Another sure fire hit!

February 29th, 2008

Ever since his starring role in 40 Year Old Virgin, Steve Carell can basically do no wrong. Hit after hit, he has just been giving us soo many great performances and soo much to laugh about. Well his latest movie, Get Smart, is sure not to disappoint either. The movie is very James Bond meets Austin Powers, with Steve Carrell in the lead role playing a secret agent. His co-stars include the gorgeous Anne Hathaway who acts as his sidekick, and also Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who plays a slightly more neurotic role.

The movie is set to be released on June 20th so we have a while to go, BUT for all you lucky people, here’s the trailer of the movie that’s sure to lift our spirits this summer!!! :D

Holy Moly Madonna!

February 29th, 2008

madonna-hm2.jpg

The Queen of Pop, Madonna, is being inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame and Justin Timberlake is doing the inducting. The two have been working together on Madonna’s upcoming album, Hard Candy, and even recorded a song and video together for her first track off the album called 4 Minutes to Save the World.

The likes of Timbaland and Pharrell have also worked on her album as she’s said to be going in a more “hip-hop” direction.

The album’s release date is set for April 29th but the JT collabooo is set to hit the airwaves by the end of March. Is anybody else just dying to know what that’s going to sound like???

Ch-Check this out!

Not too sure about this one Mariah!

Now I love Mariah Carey’s music just like a lot of people do, but sometimes she can get it wrong..very wrong.

Her latest song, Touch My Body, from her soon to be released album isn’t one of her best in my opinion.

After such an amazing album like Emancipation of Mimi, I was just expecting more from her.

But I’m sure there will be a lot of you who love this song (maybe it just needs time to grow on me too), so just for you die-hards out there here’s a look at her new video. It’s a bit too tacky for my taste but y’all enjoy ;)

Now I know I can’t vote for the next president of the United States but that hasn’t stopped me from becoming a huge supporter of Barack Obama. I admire his passion and his drive and think he’s the best candidate for the job. Sooo, you can imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon this video made for his campaign, starring a lot of celebrities who are endorsing him.

Jessica Simpson Who?

Now I’m not a huuuuge fan of Ashlee Simpson but lately she seems to be doing a lot of things right, like getting her hair dyed a rich auburn colour and letting her boyfriend, Pete Wentz (from Fall Out Boy), produce her music. Well the result is a fresh new sound, with a bit of her original style thrown into the mix. Check out her latest song, Little Miss Obsessive below. The song has got all the elements of a catchy Ashlee Simpson hit but with great beats and vocal support from Tom Higgenson, lead singer of “Plain White T’s“.

What do U think?
