I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Nowruz! Nowruz marks the first day of spring and is celebrated as the beginning of a new year in many countries, such as Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkey, Afghanista, Albania and Georgia. It’s very similar to the West’s Easter celebrations.

Being Azeri, I’ve grown up celebrating this holiday with my family and close friends so I wish that you all too can find time in your busy busy lives for the ones you love, not just on Nowruz but all year round. Keep your loved ones close and remember to always be grateful for them and for all the other blessings that Allah bestows upon us each day.
